Jayne Ross

Jayne has dominated the showing world over the past fifteen years. She is a seven-time winner of the Royal International Horse Show Supreme Horse title and has taken the Horse of the Year Show, Horse of the Year title seven times.

Jayne first tasted major success in the show-ring in 1966, winning the Pony of the Year award with the Gilbert-Scott family’s, 12.2hh Show Pony, Cusop Pirouette. Her career then took her eventing, where she competed to advanced level and then on to pre-training racehorses in the UK and South Africa.

Following her return to the UK in the late 1990’s, Jayne started working with top showing producers, Richard and Marjorie Ramsay and she took the ride on Carol Bardo’s riding horse, Soldier Brave – with whom Jayne took her first Horse of the Year title.

Jo and Holly Bates

Jo has won titles at both Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) and the Royal International Horse Show (RIHS). She was the 1978 British young rider dressage champion and has had many wins in both dressage and showing. Jo’s daughter Holly is following in her mother’s footsteps and only just out of young riders has already had considerable success in the dressage arena taking several national dressage titles. Holly is also an accomplished show rider, competing at HOYS and RIHS with some great results.

Jo grew up around ponies and having been on the British young rider dressage team and winning the Side-Saddle Rider of the Year.

Kevin & Emma McNab

Event riders Kevin and Emma McNab relocated to the UK from their native Australia in 2012. Since moving to the UK they have made a real impact on the eventing scene both in the UK and abroad.

Both Emma and Kevin have represented their country, Australia, on the world stage since their move to the UK. Emma represented AUS at the World Equestrian Games in 2018 with Fernhill Tabasco and Kevin represented AUS at the Tokyo Olympics riding Scuderia 1918 Don Quidam where he achieved a Team Silver medal. He then took several wins and notable placings at international level including:

Mount St John Equestrian

Emma Blundell, Managing Director of Mount St John set up this forward-thinking dressage stud which is now firmly established as one of the leading breeding and competition operations in the country. Mount St John horses are winning at both national and international level and several of the horses have won national titles.

Emma has a degree in Business Management and a First-Class Masters in Entrepreneurship from Manchester Business School and she spent her youth competing in showing and dressage. She has competed up to Prix St George dressage.

Natalie McGoldrick

Natalie qualified as a Vet from the University of Cambridge in 2008, and in 2011 went on to set up her own practice, South Coast Equine Vets, based in Hampshire. Since then, she has combined single handedly running her own practice, with competing her own string of horses. 

Natalie has successfully Evented Internationally, producing several horses to 3* level, and her current top horse, Tricky Johnie, to 4*; together they successfully completed two Events at 4* level in 2022, including a double clear at Houghton 4*. She was previously a member of the gold medal winning GB team at the 3* Europeans with Promise Me, with whom she also qualified for the National Dressage Championships at Advanced Medium level. She also show jumps up to 1.25/1.30m. Over the past year, Natalie has been busy backing and producing her two homebreds, and is looking forward to getting them both out competing.
